I bleed restoration and have been in the business since I was a pre-teen, working construction on my first fire loss in Evansville, IN, for my uncle's construction company at only 11 years old.

I told myself I would stay away from construction. I went to college at a University of Kentucky regional campus in Paducah, KY, studying Psychology, but dropped out to take a role in a restoration company and have yet to return! A decade later, I would find myself having run operations at several companies, from startup to over 50+ million, and worked myself up from water technician to the only IICRC-approved Instructor and Xactimate Certified Trainer in the industry, teaching for Dri Eaz products, the most significant product company in the industry. I then joined Next Gear Solutions to help build an industry-leading moisture mapping app called Dry Track to serve the industry, making a technical and transparent drying documentation tool.

I spend my time trying to help technically train and coach restoration professionals on how to survive by being technically accurate, transparent in communication, and still profitable in the ever-changing market in which we operate. I enjoy spending time with my growing family: Kyler, Avery, Jakob, and my little Franchesca. My wonderful wife and I love to target shoot, hike/camp/fish, practice martial arts, and travel when we can fit it in :)
